Heatwave Alert in 3 Bihar Lok Sabha Constituencies

As polling commenced in the final phase for Bihar’s eight Lok Sabha seats within the Patna and Shahabad divisions, the Met Department issued a heatwave alert for the Karakat, Buxar, and Sasaram constituencies. A Met Department official reported that temperatures are expected to range between 41-44 degrees Celsius with humidity levels exceeding 70 percent, making the conditions extremely unbearable. Voting for Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Nalanda, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram, Karakat, and Jehanabad began at 7 A.M. on Saturday, with voters arriving early to avoid the afternoon heat.
