Cancel Prajwal Revanna’s diplomatic passport to ensure his return to India, CM Siddaramaiah again writes letter to PM Modi :
Apart from revoking the diplomatic passport, the Prime Minister urged the Prime Minister to “take prompt and coordinated action to ensure the return of Mr Prajwal to India”.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has once again urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to cancel the diplomatic passport of Hassan MP and JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna to ensure his return to India so that the law comes to the fore in cases of sexual exploitation. But could do his work.

The Karnataka government has constituted a special investigation team to investigate the matter.
“Accused Shri. Despite the Look Out Circular, Blue Corner Notice and two notices issued by the investigating officer under Section 41A CrPC, Prajwal has managed to remain in hiding till date. FIR against Mr. Prajwal includes allegations of rape, sexual harassment, stripping of women and forcibly videography of sexual acts to intimidate the victims,” the Chief Minister said in the letter.
In the letter dated May 22, 2024, the Chief Minister said, “Therefore, I urge you to please consider this matter with all seriousness, to immediately cancel the diplomatic passport of Shri Prajwal Revanna under Section 10(3) And take necessary action. h) Ensure his return to the country under the Passport Act 1967 or any other relevant law and in the public interest.
