New Delhi/Ahmedabad: 28 people, including a newly married couple, died in a massive fire that broke out at a gaming area in Gujarat’s Rajkot on Saturday evening.
Akshay Dholariya, his wife Khyati and sister-in-law Harita had gone to the gaming area called TRP to relax after the wedding ceremony when a massive fire broke out.

A big wedding was scheduled for later this year.
Their bodies were burnt beyond recognition. While Akshay’s body was identified with the help of the ring he was wearing, the bodies of Khyati and Harita were sent for DNA testing.
The gaming zone, called TRP, was packed with visitors due to the weekend discount offer, with tickets priced at just Rs 99. It is suspected that the fire may have been caused by an electrical fault, but officials said the exact cause would be known soon. Only after investigation.
Officials said the entertainment center was running without a no-objection certificate for fire clearance and had only one exit door.
The owner and manager of TRP Gaming Area have been detained for questioning.
According to fire officials, the cause of the massive fire has not been confirmed yet.
Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Shanghvi said that he has asked the special investigation team probing the fire to submit the report as soon as possible.
