Pune Porsche Crash: Unraveling the Investigation

According to sources who spoke with TazaWorldNews, the Pune Municipal Corporation and city police would take swift action against bars, pubs, and restaurants that stay open later than allowed. The sources also revealed that two pubs are being monitored by the police, and the management of these establishments have been taken into custody.

According to other sources, the Pune accident accused stated in his testimony that his father knew he had gone out drinking and partying and that he also owned the automobile. The father, who was taken into custody on Tuesday from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, will now be questioned by police.

Two motorbike riders were killed after the accused, a 17-year-old teenager driving a Porsche automobile, struck them in the early hours of Sunday in the Kalyani Nagar district. The police believe the boy was intoxicated at the time after ingesting alcohol at a pub.

On Sunday afternoon, the case was tried under section 304 IPC, which does not allow for bail. It was more complicated than a straightforward 304 A case, which is typically used in accident situations. Since the horrific incident qualified as a “heinous crime” under Section 2 of the Juvenile Justice Act, the court was asked to grant authorization to try the juvenile accused as an adult under Section 15 of the Act on the same day in order to prevent him from being granted bail. Amitesh Kumar, commissioner of Pune police, stated.

“The judge denied our application and granted bail to the accused despite our best efforts. We have filed an appeal with the higher court challenging this order. The Pune Police reiterates that the measure adopted was the strictest one that could have been implemented. In order to ensure that the accused receives the worst sentence possible, we will work to see the matter through to its logical conclusion, Kumar continued.

The juvenile justice board came under fire for giving the child bail the same day they ordered him to write an essay about car accidents.

“It is evident from the bar’s CCTV footage that the minor was drinking. Without a doubt, the young person was operating the vehicle after drinking alcohol. Commissioner Kumar stated, “We will be providing the court with all of these facts.

In accordance with the Juvenile Justice Act, we have also filed a complaint against his father and the bar’s owners for providing alcohol to a minor. He continued, “We have moved the investigation of these instances to the crime section.

Kumar said that the police handled the case with professionalism. We are working to present a strong case. The case was moved to an ACP-level officer. In this instance, we shall choose a special counsel,” he continued.
